You are enough
God is a God of abundance, not scarcity.
From the very beginning, God speaks creation into being and keeps going. Light and dark. Land and sea. Plants that bear seed. Bodies of every kind. God does not stop at “just enough.” God delights in more than enough.
Yet so many queer and transgender people have been taught a theology of scarcity.
Not enough faith.
Not enough holiness.
Not enough masculinity or femininity.
Not enough straightness.
Not enough cisness.
Not enough worth to belong fully in the church, in family, in society.
That message is a lie.
The God revealed in scripture feeds crowds with leftovers. Turns water into wine, not a polite amount, but an excessive, embarrassing, joy-soaked abundance. The God of manna gives daily bread and says, “Trust me, there will be enough tomorrow too.” The God of resurrection refuses to accept death, erasure, or diminishment as the final word.
If God is a God of abundance, then you are not a divine mistake. You are not a theological problem to be solved. You are not a compromise God had to make.
You are enough.
You have always been enough.
And in a world that profits from your shame, your existence is holy resistance.
The God of abundance made you on purpose to reveal God’s bountiful beauty.
